ESD Points Series
OFFICIAL RULES

The ESD Points Series is a reward for the players of eligible leagues under Empire State Darts (see below). Non ESD players will be allowed as our guest to participate in one series only as an enticement to join the league. Afterward, they must participate in an eligible league to play again.

Empire State Darts reserves the right to limit the number of non ESD players before granting eligibility. It is expected that you have proof of league stats from the league you're currently in. If you are not playing in a league, ESD will make a determination to allow that player as a guest.

The series consists of 5 "Qualifiers", and 2 "Finale" events.
Finales are classified as "Gold Finale" and "Silver Finale".

Players earn entry into either Finale via points earned from Qualifiers.

Additional Info
-------------
How A-B Draw works...Based on stats of people of people attending, they are split into a top half (A Pool), and bottom half (B Pool). When the draw happens, each team will be comprised of one person from each pool. This will prevent any Super Teams getting drawn together. The best player attending can be paired only with the best person out of the B pool. This will help keep the teams fair.

  • The event runs just like a blind draw tournament with Double Elimination.
  • Matches will be either Best 3 or Best of 5 dependng on attendance.
  • Best of 3 Format is Team 501, Stacked Cricket, Stacked 701.
  • Best of 5 Format is Team 501, Stacked Cricket, Team 501, Stacked Cricket, Stacked 701.
  • To determine who starts, Flip a coin to see who shoots first in Team 501, Loser shoots first thereafter until the tiebreaker. Diddle to shoot first in Stacked 701.
